It shouldn't have been so difficult for things to go back to normal after the war. Really it shouldn't have. The dark lord should have died, and they should have rounded up all of the death eaters and that should have been the end of it. Well, it wasn't the end because wars don't end overnight. Now, twenty five years later everything is still in chaos. Death eaters kept recruiting even after their Dark Lord fell. Even after Bellatrix Lestrange died, the only person they thought crazy enough to continue the legacy of Lord Voldemort. While the Malfoy family retracted from their part of the war completely after Voldemort died, there were still others.
Even in this war stricken world there is still hope. The Ministry of Magic was repaired and taken back from the Death Eaters, and so was Hogwarts, or so they thought. The Order of the Phoenix is still heavily recruiting as well. Walking through Diagon Alley is once again relatively safe. One shouldn't go through without one of the Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes protection charms, however.
The children of Harry Potter, and all of the people who went to school with him are tired of getting thrown into Hogwarts to be taught magic, when they should be being trained more extensively in Defensive magic. So they ressurect the idea of Dumbledore's army. Only, they change the name, to something to mirror the Order of the Phoenix. Welcome to the Order of the Dragon. Names on the Roster are from every single house. It's a house unity like no one has ever seen before at Hogwarts. Sure, students outside of the Order do not share the same sentiments, Gryffindors and Slytherins will always be rivals, but within the Order is paradise.
They went far beyond teaching themselves how to fight. It was easy. Rose begged and pleaded her mother to borrow her books, she has read almost everything in the library worth reading after all. Scorpius and his sister have a library to die for in the Malfoy Manor, and no one really notices when things go missing from it. Everything from potions to defensive magic they are not being taught.
They are leading a revolution and it will be an awakening at Hogwarts.
